Individual Giving – Leave a Legacy

Over the years, the Library Trustees wisely put aside funds to serve as ‘seed money’ for future capital projects. Thanks to their good stewardship, the Capital Campaign will begin with a balance of approximately $450,000.

Our goal is to build the Capital Fund to $1.5 million dollars by November 2020 through a combination of State grants and private fundraising in order to complete Phase I of the building project and move into Phase II.

Given our short time frame, we’re counting on generous community leaders who want to leave a legacy for future generations of LaGrange residents to step up and lead the way.

WAYS TO GIVE

STEP FORWARD AND MAKE A GENEROUS GIFT TODAY

Individuals who make gifts to the Capital Campaign of $500 or more in cash or securities are eligible to take advantage of a limited number of naming opportunities on a first-come, first-serve basis. Download the information sheet below for the most up-to-date list of opportunities available.

Other special events, such as hard-hat tours and a private reception are being planned for those who give at the $1,000 and above level.

MAKE A PLEDGE

If it is more convenient for you, you may use our PLEDGE FORM to make a pledge to the Capital Campaign. All Pledges must be paid in full to receive Naming and other benefits.

If you receive required minimum distributions from your retirement plan, you may wish to pledge your next yearly distribution to the Capital Campaign. Ask your financial adviser or tax planner about potential tax benefits.
